Brief Overview of Project:

Part of a £820m redevelopment of the regions education establishments this initiative aimed to provide 15,000 school children in West/Central Scotland with contemporary learning environments. Since first involvement in 2004, Lesterose have contributed to the successful delivery of over 40 schools across all phases of this programme. Generally, the scope of each building includes facing brick elevations, feature bonds or panels, internal blockwork plant rooms and gym halls. The company’s longstanding involvement in these projects stands as a testament to the consistent levels of quality, safety and overall client satisfaction that have been achieved.

Challenges:

The main challenge presented by these projects is ensuring that the construction methods and the finished product constantly met the high standards expected by both the main contractor and the client. As a company who implement and regularly monitor a strict QMS as well as a number of safety polices/procedures, Lesterose have frequently delivered full scope of works to the highest standard.
